Chroniclers are privileged to enter where they list, to come and go through keyholes, to ride upon the wind, to overcome in their soarings up and down, all obstacles of distance, time and place.

THE GLASS BOTTOMED BOAT - or the one minute sails pitch!

How can I help?...would you like to do a tour?.... there's a wunnerful tour you can do which takes you all round the coast and you can see the whales its just the right time to see the whales. We'll actually take you near the whales which you're not supposed to do but, hey!. its fine...its so exciting! Where are you guys from? From Germany are you guys from Germany? Erhm...that's the brochures there., you have to book through me at least one day in advance..are you from Holland you must be from Holland right? That's Dutch you're speaking.. Or maybe you would like to scuba dive?...Is that what you guys want to do to scuba dive? We have have all kinds of boats. That's the glass bottomed boat you see there. It lets you see the coral which is still alive still growing! Would you like to do that? I have the times right here but you have to give me a days notice. Or how about the Booze and Cruise from the look of you guys I know you'll just love the Booze and Cruise. You can drink as much as you want as soon as you get on board! I mean you're not even out of the goddamned harbour! huh huh
huh Then we make food for you and you drink all day.
No? No? That's not for you?

Where are you from? Oh you are from Ayerland and your speaking Ayerish. Wow that's amazing! I wondered why I didn't understand a word...You see we're kinda like the Arabs in the markets the way we pick up on languages!? We know most languages because we just need one verbal clue in any language about what we might hook the customer on...I mean., what they are saying they are interested in. But that's Ayerish I haven't a clue what you are saying! You are both obviously very cultured So! I have just the thing for you guys! Have you seen this ship?.. Its called the Sunderland!? Its an old sailing ship? Well hey you guys better hurry because this ship is part of history and it is going into permanent dock pretty soon. We'll take you to lovers rock and you can stay on the beach with the sea-lions. The beach is only accessible by boat so you can have some privacy if you know what I mean. Privacy? Do you understand? And all the crew...all the crew they dress up as pirates and we even fire the cannons like they did in history. Maybe you guys would just like to wait. Take your time! Did you eat? There's a fabulous restaurant just around the corner and hey I get a commission so if you go there mention my name. My name is Juan but I call myself Kevin cos I think I am little like Kevin Spacey? Do you see the resemblance? No you don't see the likeness? Are you interested in the boats? No? I get a small fee if you go through me. Welcome to San Jose del Cabo. Are you guys gonna be here for a while? Watch those mosquitoes they'll eat you alive in the estuary around evening time. Hey thanks!
