Cic Saor returns for 2008

After a fairly lengthy break for family and professional reasons (I am working on a book translation at the moment), it is great to be back blogging in cyberspace. May I take this opportunity to wish you all a happy and creative new year – bliain úr mhaith agus faoi shonas do chách.

I wrote a lot and thought a lot over my extended Christmas break and the three articles/essays below form part of the outcome of all that thinking and touch on subjects which regular readers will recognise as being close to my heart. The first one is a review of Michael Ondaatje’s brilliant book – “In The Skin Of A Lion”.
