"Lets make GREED history" outburst on prime time TV shock
TV news presenter sacked after - "emotional, unprofessional" outburst
Irish television executives moved quickly to remove a senior news presenter who they claim was guilty of an "emotional" and "totally unprofessional outburst" during Monday evening's prime time six o'clock news slot. Station insiders have revealed that management was especially incensed at the presenter’s behaviour given that a group of VIPs from the USA and Britain was on hand to witness the amazing live on air departure from the news script.

It is, I suppose, ironic that I should praise a scientific invention after writing the essay below - see
Child abduction - Thinking the unthinkable – Think before you think, which questions the scientific community' s attitude to spiritual and philosophical matters. The fact is, though, that this blog site represents a minuscule part of the incredible invention that is the internet and one of the great advantages of the invention is the way it fosters communities.
Here are two responses to "Think before you think". They are both written by men. Men whom I regard as my brothers and soul mates. I have never met one of them (Finn) and Sean I unfortunately only see once in a blue moon. But lack of physical contact doesn't matter. We are travelling the same road and the worldwide web illuminates part of that road.

Child abduction - Thinking the unthinkable – Think before you think
Certain things have happened in our country and abroad recently which must come close to being the worst nightmare for any family. An apparent suicide and child homicide in Donegal (an t-olc i bhfad uainn – may evil never be near us) seems to have been replicated in the same week in South America. At the same time, the trauma of the child abducted in Portugal continues.
Now, according to people who know me very well, I have had a fairly tough life. MY father, may he be at peace, was a severe and violent alcoholic, I joined the merchant navy when I was just under 17.
